Manakkal Agro Farm is set in the heart of Kakkadampoyil, a hill region of Kozhikode district. Adjoining it lies roughly fifteen acres of land known as Manakkal Orchards, which is home to the cultivation as well as to the research laboratory and medicine production unit of Manakkal Agro Pharma. Manakkal Orchards is a garden rich with a wide variety of exotic and native fruits — rambutan, mangosteen, butterfruit, orange, sugarcane, mango and cocoa among them — together with cardamom, coconut, areca nut, banana and vegetables. Beyond plants, the farm is also home to animals of every kind: horses, rabbits, goats, cows, buffaloes, ducks, fish and poultry.
Manakkal Orchards is not merely a farmland — it is a living research centre. For years this land has been used to observe, test and refine how homoeopathic methods can be applied practically in agriculture and animal husbandry, without routine dependence on toxic chemicals. Serving as a testing ground for plants and animals alike, veterinary homoeopathy is as central a subject here as agro homoeopathy. Its greatest distinction is that everything grown and raised here is cared for using only the wholly natural medicines of Manakkal Agro Pharma.
